Just letting you know about a brand new addition to my Substack publication: Hello from FionaO Subscriber Chat. Substack is a forum for the writing community with many FREE publications available if you’re considering whether to join or get the app. I hope to eventually drop off X and Facebook, then stick with Substack and Instagram for my online fix. FREE subscribers will receive occasional posts about courses, recommended reads, etc, I won’t clog up your inbox. PAID subscribers will be able to read my published stories and more.
Course writers on WRITING THE TROUBLES with Irish Writers Centre online will receive my links to the recommended reads via a FREE Substack post each week before the course.
Subscriber Chat is a conversation space exclusively for subscribers—like a group chat. I’ll post updates that come my way, and you can jump into the discussion if you like. Fiona O'Rourke | Authorised BONUS, BONUS, BONUS! Writing places are filling fast for my upcoming course WRITING THE TROUBLES at the Irish Writers Centre Online. Each week there will be a small list of recommended reads and I'm delighted to say that one of the recommended authors, a highly regarded novelist, short story writer, reviewer, and teacher from Derry, will join us to give a READING and Q&A for participant writers. This is a huge bonus for course writers and I will add his profile details to this thread when I've firmed up the date that he can join us on Zoom. Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
